I do love me a community. It's not so much that I'm a joiner, as much as I love finding other people as nutty as I am. It makes me feel so much less nutty.
I've got my:
Without really knowing it, I've joined a new community. PT Cruiser owners.
There are clubs. There are magazines. There are cruises. There are tons of aftermarket accessories. And you know how I do love my accessories.
Here are some samples of what I might be doing to my PT.
Hmmm. I wonder if she wants flames?

the question is, do YOU want flames?!
She's great.....
K, so I guess you didn't get a Prius... ;)
Oh, I think the addition of flames goes without saying. I mean, come on...It's flames.
No Frank - I didn't get a prius. While driving around in one all last week I discovered that I can't see out the virtually non existent rear window. Also, due to the rush for Prii right now, they are kinda expensive. I know it would have paid off in gas savings but then there's the whole seeing out the rear window issue again.
Orangeblossoms (I keep wanting to call you ob but that's just wrong) yes. I do really want flames.
Laurie Ann. Seriously! I know! Flames!
Wow! Cool! I almost bought a PT Cruiser myself, but went for the safe and sane Toyota Matrix.
I've been to many car shows with Mr. Larry and have seen so many accessories for the PTC. I've even seen a Rolls Royce-type grille applied to a PT. Flames on the side, painted to look like some of Regina's crocheted flames would be perfecto. I also see crocheted headrest covers in your future!!!!!
Groovay!
I recently discovered your site and I simply must say-- I LOVE IT!
Please tell me where you got the T-shirt you wore at the barbecue. The one with the skull and knitting needles. I really want one. I saw your picture on Crazy Aunt Purl.
Wish I'd chosen a handier name-- ob is the brand of tampon I use, natch! Overshare much?
Also, thanks for refraining!
FLAMES!! Yes! Personally, I like the flames treatment on the red one the best, but they are all fabulous! Which is your fave?
My favorite is the completely tricked out one with the burgundy bottom and white top. I think because the front is so modified. After all, I seem to always have to be just a little different.
I'm thinking about fringe on the top of the front window...
We'll see.
Oh yeah, also, I left the URL for the shirt as a comment on Laurie's blog. Just FYI for anyone who wants it.
xo

I LOVE THE FLAMES!
Welcome to the club! I've owned mine for over a year now, and am ashamed to say I have done nothing to customize it. Sigh.
And I second the flames.
Hee hee! I thought it was going to be a Prius, too (Frank)! Enjoy your fun car! Trick that baby out! I've got a first-generation Prius, so it drives and looks a lot like an Echo, and I'm glad I got it, and my NEXT car will be a FUN car! :>
Ooh fancy!
How about shark fins?
No?
